TERMS & CONDITIONS

WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE?

The price we quote and the charge is inclusive of vat, insurance and a daily mileage allowance of 150 miles.

WHAT DO WE NEED?

All our drivers must be between the age of 23 and 75 if you are over 75 or under 23. We will just need to refer you for insurance purposes which may affect your excess. we will require a copy of your driver’s licence, N.I number, and proof of address to confirm any bookings.

Additional drivers are charged at £10 per day per person or £30 for a week.

DEPOSIT

£200 deposit taken per booking and is returned once the vehicle has been checked in. Deposits are pre-authorised pending transactions and on return can take 3-5 business days to be returned.

MILEAGE & DIESEL

Mileage allowance 150 per day anything overcharged at 15p per mile inc VAT.

All vans go out on a full tank of diesel and are to be returned with a full tank or you will be charged for the diesel and a £20 inconvenience fee.

INSURANCE & EXCESS

Insurance excess is £1000 a collision damage waiver is offered to all customers on signing at an extra charge dependant on the vehicle which would then reduce your excess by half. The excess is payable on any damage or loss sustained to the hired vehicle or any third party in the event of an accident.

WINDSCREEN DAMAGE

Windscreen damage is the hirer’s responsibility.

TYRE DAMAGE

Tyre damages and punctures are at hirers responsibility.

OVERHEAD DAMAGE

Overhead damages is not covered by your insurance excess as this is due to driver negligence. If such damage occurs the hirer will be charged the full costs of repair.

DART, CONGESTION & PCN

All hirers are liable for any PCN, ULEZ, DART or congestion charges so please ensure you pay them as advised otherwise any tickets received will be forwarded and you risk the chance of a fine. Any tickets we receive you will be charged £30 admin fee.

EU COVER

Can be provided on request at an additional charge ask a member of staff for further information.

RETURNING OF VEHICLE

Any vehicles dropped out of hours are dropped at the hirer’s liability until we are open and a member of staff has checked it in.

If for any reason you need to cancel we will require a minimum of 24 hours notice or you risk being charged for a day’s hire.

All hire agreements are based on a 24 hour period unless specified otherwise. If for any reason the vehicle is returned later than the 24 hour period customers are then charged for an extra day.

CAN I LET ANOTHER PERSON DRIVE THE HIRE VAN?

You will need to list any additional drivers on your hire contract at the time of collection. If anybody other than the named driver (s) drives without our consent the hire contract will be terminated and you will be fully liable for all third party claims and the extra driver charge.
